Hi everyone
Just letting you know we are post poning the board swap that was scheduled for this weekend.
Noit only is the weather looking feral, but we have had some pretty unreal news that a couple of super special international guests might be able to make it later in October with some ground breaking new designs.
At this stage it looks like the 24th of October, but once we get confirmation, we’ll post it straight away.
Sorry for any inconvenience as we know heaps of people are frothing and really looking forward to showing off their pride and joys and maybe making the trade of a lifetime….or picking up a sweet ride at the very least.

Just an update on the Knights Pro….
The event is next Saturday the 11th & Sunday the 12th of September at Knights Beach at Pt Elliot on the Southern Fleurieu peninsula.
As always, this is the number 1 stop for every body boarder worth their salt in oz.
Hopefully the wedge will be all time so the crew can go ballistic…
Make sure if your into bodyboarding that you lock it in and even if your not, stop by when you do a bakery run as the action will be insane as the boys continue to throw themselves into the thickest slabs they can and soar way higher than a seagull that hasn’t eaten a chip for a fortnight!!

The first ever Tracks mag next to this months 40th year anniversary issue
Good on the crew at Tracks for documenting aussie surf culture for ever!!
I picked up this special edition pack at the local seaford newsagency and it is an absolute little ripper.
Its unreal to go back over the first ever issue and read the classic yarns and see some ground breaking ad copy…… legendary!!
The new issue is also chockers with classic stories and images that will let you mind surf for ages…….
I reckon it will go real quick so grab a copy for the weekend and lock down, especcially with tomorrows forecast….
Sunday looks alright though, so get in for an early one before you catch up with the old boy for fathers day

Welly and Daniel are off to see master shaper, D’arcy next week for some warm water caverns and to test ride a few of his secret new models that will be hitting the racks ready for summer.

Hi folks
Get ready for fathers day with a difference!!
Sunday the 5th of September we are having a board swap day at cutloose in the afternoon from 12 – 4 in the carpark if it is sunny or inside if it is yucky!!
Either way, you can be assured of a feed, great tunes, good vibes, heaps of yarns with heaps of top people all amongst a sea of beautiful boards with their own stories to tell!!
How it will work is, if your keen – rock up in the morning to test ride over 20 of the latest SUPs and longboards in the morning ( location closer to the day once we see the forecast – but probably moana, 3 poles or the trough),
then head back to the factory to see what people have dragged out from their shacks, sheds or maybe even their beds 
It is a plastic note donation to the Surf Rider foundation to go in it ( what ever you think is fair ) and we’ll cover the food etc..
At this stage we have room for about 100 boards, so whack it in your diary and tell your mates or anyone you know who might be keen to update their quiver with some freindly bartering…..
Cutloose is just providing the space and hopefully a great day – for us we just want to share a great vibe at the start of spring time…
Our matesin the eastern states recently had a similar swap and over 200 boards turned up with a fantastic day had by all….
So get on board, tell your mates and make a day / afternoon of it……
There’s a rumour that possibly..and at this stage it’s a big possibly, one of the worlds greatest longboard shapers may even be turning up to do a guest spot of shaping in our instore shaping bay……some of you have met the man in question….he’s humble, histerical, can talk the leg off a chair and really has revolutionised longboard surfing over the last 30 or so years…….stay posted and as soon as we get a final word, we’ll post it here……regardless it will be a top day
